Chamber Recognizes Life and Legacy of Former Councilmember Maureen McCarry |
The chamber joins other community partners in mourning the loss of Issaquah leader and longtime Chamber member Maureen McCarry.
"Maureen was an active chamber member and a leader on a number of important local and regional issues, and we join the community in celebrating her life and honoring her service" said Chamber CEO Matthew Bott. "On behalf of the the entire Chamber membership, our thoughts and prayers are with the McCarry family during this difficult time."
McCarry participated in a number of chamber events and programs, including service on the Government Affairs committee and as City Council liaison to the Board of Directors. She was a frequent attendee at Chamber luncheons, networking events, policy forums and community celebrations and was always looking for ways to connect with and support Issaquah chamber members.
