Education Expo

“Recession-proof your kids” is probably the best statement that could be made about the importance of gaining an awareness of the local educational resources available to your family and our community. After all, the new currency for community and career success is simple…it’s jobs. It’s workforce preparedness. Its academic excellence.

And on January 19th, the best of area education-related businesses, services, schools and speakers will be assembled in one place to give you, your family and our community easy access to all that our region offers in Education resources. Whether your child is heading into kindergarten, college, or just looking for the academic edge, you don’t want to miss it.

Kellstrom Publishing (publishers of Issaquah+Sammamish Magazine) steps forward for the second year to provide a valuable community service at January 19th’s Education Expo-A Syllabus for Success. Held this year at Skyline High School, the event will feature dozens of education related vendors, speakers and educational institutions.

The Issaquah-Sammamish region is well known for its top notch educational systems, both public and private, and both the Issaquah and Sammamish Chambers are proud to partner with Kellstrom Publishing this year to help promote this outstanding event.

Exhibit areas will include information from public and private schools, lesson providers, academic tutors, cognitive trainers, summer camp providers, artistic instruction. Parents will take away valuable resource information to help outline a plan for navigating their child’s journey from pre-school to post high school. A series of keynote speakers will be presenting on a variety of topics, including time for interaction from the audience. Post secondary education opportunities, including Renton Technical College, Lake WA Technical and Bellevue College are also planned.

See you at Skyline High School on Thursday, January 19 from 4:00-9:00pm.
