UW Medicine - Issaquah Clinic Announced as New Chairman’s Circle Member at Issaquah Chamber
Leading Medical Center and Clinic System Supports Issaquah Community and Local Economy

UW Medicine, a health system that features a network of neighborhood clinics across Puget Sound, including a signature Issaquah location, has joined the Issaquah Chamber’s Chairman Circle program, helping to support the local economy and the chamber’s community promotion initiatives.

The Issaquah clinic location, newly renovated, is located in the Pickering Place shopping center, across from Barnes and Noble and the Regal cinemas.

“UW Medicine, including four hospitals, nine neighborhood clinics and extensive research facilities, is one of the region’s leading medical providers,” said Matthew Bott, CEO of the Issaquah Chamber. “Having a clinic in Issaquah, connecting our community with the organization’s broad network of health care affiliates and clinics, is a major benefit for our citizens and businesses.”

UW Neighborhood Clinics is a network of primary care clinics with nine neighborhood locations throughout the greater Seattle area. The clinics offer a complete spectrum of primary care services for the entire family, from pediatrics to geriatrics. They also offer ancillary services, including on-site laboratory and X-ray facilities and nutrition services.

“Having a primary care provider is critical to achieving and maintaining your best health,” explains Dr. Patricia Read-Williams, Family Medicine Physician and Issaquah Clinic Chief. “Your primary care provider serves as the first point of contact for your healthcare needs, from preventive care, to diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses, and management of chronic diseases.”

The UW Neighborhood Issaquah Clinic brings a number of unique services to our community, including board-certified UW physicians who are committed to providing comprehensive care that is both accessible and culturally appropriate. The clinic also offers convenient hours six days a week with evening and same day appointments, 24-hour access to nurses or other healthcare professionals, specialty services such as ADD/ADHD evaluation and management, aesthetic medicine, sleep medicine and travel medicine services, and eCare - secure online access to personal health information that allows registered users to email their healthcare team, schedule and cancel appointments, order prescription refills, and check their medical history and lab results.

UW Neighborhood Clinics have consecutively earned five excellent accreditation scores for meeting nationally recognized standards of high-quality health care from the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care. They have also received two leadership awards from the health insurer Premera Blue Cross for continued participation and support in the Premera Quality Score Card program. In addition to recognizing the UW Neighborhood Clinics as an official “Patient-Centered Medical Home,” the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) has recognized 28 Neighborhood Clinics physicians for excellence in diabetic care.

The UW Neighborhood Clinics are part of the UW Medicine health system, which also includes Harborview Medical Center, Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, Valley Medical Center, UW Medical Center, UW Physicians, the UW School of Medicine and Airlift Northwest, a specialized emergency transport program. UW Neighborhood Clinics physicians are board-certified, and are active members of the UW School of Medicine faculty.

“The UW Neighborhood Issaquah Clinic brings the collective strength of these various health care institutions to Issaquah, supporting our community’s broad and deep portfolio of health care excellence” added Bott.

The Chairman’s Circle program was developed to highlight and recognize leading local businesses. The program provides extensive year-round business visibility, integrated Chamber marketing and outstanding multi-media exposure, including event sponsorship, organic social media/website coverage and branding within various Chamber print collateral. The businesses in this program are among the community’s leading private-sector employers who support Issaquah’s economic vitality, local employment base and local charities.

Through the Chairman’s Circle program, Chamber members can help directly support the Chamber’s growing community promotion and economic vitality programs, including special events that bring dollars to the community, business recruitment and retention initiatives to support job growth, and business advocacy programs to support the local Issaquah economy.
