Port Blakely Communities is honored to again sponsor the Annual Issaquah Community Awards Luncheon.

This event recognizes volunteers who significantly contribute their time, energy and resources to make Issaquah a better place to live, and we are pleased to partner with the Chamber in this commemoration. Volunteerism is core to building community, and building stronger communities is something Port Blakely Communities has done in real estate development for nearly twenty years.

Today, Port Blakely Communities’ master-planned community, Issaquah Highlands, is home to more than 7,000 residents and 22 planned parks, as well as miles of biking and hiking trails, and a variety of shops and restaurants. The Swedish/Issaquah hospital campus, YWCA Family Village at Issaquah, Discovery Heights, Pulte Homes, LEO House, Habitat for Humanity and zHome are among the projects currently under construction. Combined, projects planned and underway total more than an estimated $300 million in new construction investment and more than 1,500 construction jobs. Many of the community’s projects also greatly benefit – both directly and indirectly – by volunteer efforts. In turn, greater Issaquah benefits as well.

Port Blakely Communities is proud to be a part of this annual celebration and we extend our thanks to the Chamber for this partnership opportunity to honor those who make Issaquah such a great place to live, work, and play.
