Restaurant Revitalization Fund

RESTAURANTS, FOOD TRUCKS, BARS, BAKERIES, ETC.

The Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) provides funding to help restaurants and other eligible businesses keep their doors open. This program will provide restaurants with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location. Recipients are not required to repay the funding as long as funds are used for eligible uses no later than March 11, 2023.

Business Recovery Grants

FOR-PROFIT BUSINESSES

The City has allocated an additional $250,000 in funding for direct business grants. These grants are intended to support businesses that continue to be negatively impacted by restrictions on business operations.

The Business Recovery Grant is available to home-based businesses and brick and mortar businesses up to 25 employees. Businesses that have received grant funding from the City in 2020 are not eligible for this grant program.

This business grant program is meant to fund innovative solutions to address business needs during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. If your business has made an impactful change in your business model, adopted new technologies or practices, or have otherwise innovated or reinvented your business to cope with the novel economic or public health requirements and challenges during the COVID-19 crisis, you can apply. Businesses that have received a Small Business Response Grant from City of Issaquah are not eligible for this grant program. Nonprofits are not eligible to apply.

LICENSED PROFESSIONAL HAIRSTYLISTS, NAIL TECHS, SALON OWNERS, EDUCATORS
Coty Professional Beauty, the parent company of brands like Wella, Sassoon and OPI, is offering $200,000 in grants to licensed hairdressers, manicurists and educators affected by the pandemic. Licensed professional hairstylists and nail techs to salon owners and educators, can apply to receive one of 230 relief checks totaling up to $1,000 each to assist in their pandemic relief and recovery.

NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND FISCALLY SPONSORED ORGANIZATIONS

The WA State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) is now accepting applications from non-profits and fiscally sponsored arts groups and organizations that are facing financial hardship due to economic impact related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding is made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, distributed to state and regional arts agencies by the National Endowment for the Arts. ArtsWA will manage and oversee the grant process for the state. Grants up to $5000 can be used for general operating support. No matching funds are required, however recipients must have a DUNS number to receive funds.

4Culture has committed a total of $1 million to support King County cultural organizations and workers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including $450,000 to organizations in this initial response. Grants up to $5,000 are available for cultural organizations that have suffered significant financial hardship from the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. Applicants must be cultural organizations in King County, with a primary mission related to one or more of 4Culture’s funding areas: arts, heritage, and preservation.

HORST RECHELBACHER FOUNDATION– Beauty Industry COVID-19 $1,000 Relief Grants

LICENSED BEAUTY PROFESSIONALS OR STUDENTS OF BEAUTY PROGRAMS

Funded by the Horst Rechelbacher Foundation, these $1,000 grants will provide financial assistance to beauty professionals or students of beauty programs, whose lives have been drastically changed by the mandated closures in response to COVID-19. Available to beauty professionals and students who are unemployed and cannot maintain their regular income during this time, these one-time $1,000 grants will be distributed directly to the applicant to provide temporary financial relief.•    Must be a licensed beauty professional (COSMETOLOGY, ESTHETICS, BARBERING, or MASSAGE THERAPY) and have been employed for 12 months on or before March 16, 2020. OR They must have been attending a program to become a licensed beauty professional on or before March 16, 2020.•    Must currently not be earning an income.•    Must not be a nail tech, please apply for the CND grant instead•    Must not be a business owner
