On Tuesday, March 3rd, the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce hosted the 14th annual Great Careers Conference at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Designed to strengthen the local workforce pipeline, the event connected Issaquah School District students in grades 9–12 with high-wage, high-growth career pathways that do not require a four-year degree.
Students explored 31 interactive expo tables representing a wide range of industries and educational programs. They also participated in guided campus tours, giving them a firsthand look at hands-on training environments and career-focused learning opportunities available at LWTech.
Events like Great Careers play a critical role in helping students discover meaningful career options while supporting local employers in building a strong, future-ready workforce.
We extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors—the Issaquah Schools Foundation and the City of Issaquah—as well as our host, Lake Washington Institute of Technology, and the Chamber’s Education Committee for their leadership and support.
