Down Home 4th of July & Heritage Day Celebration


Bring the family down and join in some good ol' fashioned fun on Wednesday, July 4th for the “Down Home 4th of July and Heritage Day” festivities. This is a FREE family friendly, community event hosted by the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce.

The pinnacle of the celebration is the Kids 'n Pets Parade at 11am. Kids, this is your chance to decorate your pets, bikes, wagons and scooters and parade through Downtown Issaquah on Front Street from Rainier to Alder Place. Sit back and watch the festivities from along Front Street or be part of the Parade.

Register for the Parade by Noon, July 3rd online at www.issaquahchamber.com/downhome4th or pick up a form and submit it to the Chamber Office/ Visitors Information Center - 155 NW Gilman Blvd. Issaquah.

Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Issaquah for running the day-of parade registration. Check in begins at 10am and takes place at the Holt Building parking lot at 425 Rainier Blvd N. The parade begins at 11am and concludes at 11:30 at Veterans’ Memorial Field

Enjoy fun games, entertainment and local food following the parade at Veterans’ Memorial Field at 120 2nd Avenue NE.

Heritage Day is an opportunity for kids of all ages to get their hands on history. The Issaquah History museum is hosting activities from days long past at the Issaquah Depot Museum. Volunteers will help kids make their own butter, use a washboard and wringer to wash clothes, operate a pump car up and down the track, and other hands-on activities.
