Q13 Anchor and Correspondent Brandi Kruse will serve as event emcee
Bellevue, WA - The East King Chambers Coalition announced today that Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson will deliver the keynote address at their annual legislative breakfast on January 8. The Coalition also confirmed that veteran broadcast journalist Brandi Kruse will act as emcee for the event and moderate the legislator panels.
The breakfast is set for Wednesday, January 8, 2020, 7:00 AM at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.
Each January, this breakfast marks the start of the political year on the Eastside. Representatives of the East King County business community gather to hear what Eastside legislators will prioritize in the coming Short Session – and release their own legislative agenda.
Topics for the conversation with legislators will likely include the fallout from I-976 and potential court action; carbon, capital gains, and other proposed taxes at play in the legislature; and other issues from retirement planning to education funding.
The Coalition is pleased to open this event to all who are interested in the legislative process, including business owners and operators, non-profit leaders and educators, local elected officials and members of the general public.
The East King Chambers Coalition, operated by the Bellevue Chamber, unites eleven chambers of commerce representing the Eastside business community. The Coalition develops a combined legislative agenda and brings lawmakers and business leaders together through several events and activities throughout the year.
