Chamber Supports the School Renewal Levy and Encourages Voters to do the Same

The Issaquah School District is asking voters to approve the renewal of the EP&O levy on the February 11th ballot, to allow the district to continue to support the programs and services funded by the previous 2 year levy, expiring in 2020. Like a subscription, local school levies must be renewed, or the funding will be lost.

The 2020 EP&O levy continues support for:

  • Career & Technical Education

  • Mental Health Counselors

  • Safety & Security

  • Special Education

  • Dual Language Program

  • Highly Capable Program

  • Early Childhood Learning & Preschool Opportunities

  • Professional Development for Teachers

  • Expanded High School Schedules

This levy maintains current programs, while remaining fiscally responsible and sensitive to the overall tax rate. This is NOT a new tax. The proposed 2 year levy replaces the expiring 2018 levy at an overall tax rate. For more information, visit the ISD Levy information page at Please remember to get your ballots in by Tuesday, February 11th.
