Promote Chamber membership and retention by staying informed and abreast of governmental issues that affect the business community in the Greater Issaquah area. Monitor local, regional, and state business and education issues deemed important to the interests of the Chamber and the Greater Issaquah area. This committee shall recommend beneficial actions to be taken by the Chamber.
Support and carry out the processes involved with the successful implementation of Salmon Days by agreeing to be a team leader for a specific area of the festival. Areas include: Retail, Marketing, Food Court, Non-Profit Court, Volunteers, Parking, Signage, Extreme Team, Info Booths, Entertainment, Strategies and Vendor Layout, and more.
Promote Chamber membership and retention by creating a strategic plan for the Chamber. Using the Core Competencies for Chambers of Commerce and the WACE library, create a strategic plan that addresses long term goals that will guide, strengthen and support the work plan of our organization. This committee shall recommend a strategic plan to be taken by the Chamber.
Promote Chamber membership and retention by ensuring the Alexander House is a safe and inviting building for the visitors and locals alike. Monitor maintenance and improvement projects. Assess projects in order of greatest need. This committee shall recommend the maintenance and upkeep of the Alexander House.
Promote Chamber membership and retention by creating a quality marketing program. Monitor current marketing trends to determine best possible community outreach that will obtain maximum saturation. Create guidelines that address website, community calendar, visitor outreach, chamber messaging , and messaging from our members. This committee shall recommend beneficial marketing related action to be taken by the Chamber.
