As a part of the AVP Seattle Open, the AVP will be hosting an free, outdoor movie night on June 4th at Lake Sammamish State Park! June 4th is also National Trails Day which means that a Discover Pass is not needed to get into the park!
Kung Fu Panda 3 will be shown on the AVP’s Jumbotron and all attendees will be able to sit on the sand court and bleachers following Saturday’s tournament elimination round. The movie is free for all and will start 30 minutes after the last match ends. Local food trucks will also be parked around the event court so families can enjoy a nice, relaxing Saturday night out.
Families are encouraged to come out to Lake Sammamish State Park and experience the spectacle that is professional beach volleyball. With teams preparing for the 2016 Rio Olympics, attendees will be able to witness world class beach volleyball. There will be over 25 internationally ranked players participating in the four day tournament (June 2-June 5) so there will be non-stop action throughout the weekend. Tournament dates are:
