Over 1,000 local and regional residents and visitors will be coming to Downtown Issaquah on Wednesday, July 4th for some good ol' fashioned fun for the “Down Home 4th of July and Heritage Day” festivities. This is a FREE family friendly, community event hosted by the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce.
This is an opportunity for your business to benefit! Let us know if you plan to be open and we'll include a list of places parade goers can dine, shop and visit. Here is a schedule of events:
11am-Noon- Kids 'n Pets parade through Downtown Issaquah on Front Street from Rainier to Alder Place.
11:30-2pm- Enjoy fun games, entertainment following the parade at Veterans’ Memorial Field at 120 2nd Avenue NE.
Heritage Day is an opportunity for kids of all ages to get their hands-on history. The Issaquah History museum is hosting activities from days long past at the Issaquah Depot Museum. Volunteers will help kids make their own butter, use a washboard and wringer to wash clothes, operate a pump car up and down the track, and other hands-on activities.

Please note the following road closures for the parade from 10am-1pm:
Front ST N: NW Gilman BV to NE Alder Place . – Busses can use Front ST N from NE Dogwood northbound to NW Gilman BV.
Rainier BV N: NW Dogwood to NW Juniper
Sunset Way: East and West bound traffic on Sunset Way will not be altered- No Northbound
Traffic will be allowed onto Front St. N between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
