An End-of-Year Letter to Our Membership

Updated: Jan 31, 2022

As 2021 draws to a close, I wanted to share some of my thoughts about our amazing business community and the Chamber. I have been in this industry for over 20 years and prior to that, I owned my own company. I can tell you firsthand that there isn’t another organization that does more to support our local economy than our Chamber.

I’m thankful for our Greater Issaquah Chamber members whose investment in our organization supports the work of our team to meet the needs of our business and non-profit community. Our members are building resilience and preparing to take advantage of next year’s opportunities with our support.

Through the challenges of the last two years, the Greater Issaquah Chamber doubled down on our leadership role to help our business community navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team created a COVID relief page and tracked business openings and closings to help keep our residents informed. We helped connect over 400 small businesses and nonprofits to over $5.6 million in grant funding, as well as millions more in forgivable SBA loans.

Our members are essential to our work supporting the recovery and resiliency of our local economy. As we look ahead to 2022, we will continue to deliver high-quality service to our entire business community. We can only achieve this with your support. We recognize that these are unprecedented times, and the Greater Issaquah Chamber is here to be the catalyst of regrowth and reimagination for the region.

If you are an existing member, please consider renewing. If you are not a member yet, please consider joining the Greater Issaquah Chamber as a member. We offer several levels of membership.

The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce excels at:

  • Attracting catalytic leaders that are willing to create beneficial change for businesses

  • Aligning resources that bring quality products and services at substantial savings to our membership

  • Boldly advocating for business and community improvements that enhance our quality of life

  • Analyzing and filtering communication “noise” to ensure our partners receive current and accurate information.

I am looking forward to serving you in 2022,

Kathy McCorry

CEO Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce
