We know that wearing masks are one of the easiest and best strategies we have that can reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Masks are safe and have been proven effective according to numerous recent studies. But change can be difficult, and many in our communities still resist this practice that needs to become routine for all of us.
Here are some tips and tricks from the Department of Health for wearing cloth face coverings that includes FAQs about safety, comfort, and other topics. King County has also put together some great information and very helpful posters on mask dos-and-don’ts for schools and other public places where mask use is required. These are available in many languages with more being added routinely.
