Greater Issaquah Chamber Endorses Kathy Lambert for King County Candidate District 3

Updated: Oct 18, 2021

Kathy Lambert currently represents Council District 3, which stretches from Redmond, Skykomish, Woodinville, Carnation, and Duvall in the north, all the way to Issaquah, Sammamish, and North Bend along the I-90 corridor. Serving a district of nearly 1,000 square miles requires boundless energy, a good listening ear, and an ability to think on the fly. The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our official endorsement in favor of Kathy being re-elected to the position.

In full agreement and quoting the Bellevue Chamber: “With King County serving as the local government for so much of her district, constituent services and accessibility is an essential job requirement. Kathy helped establish the King County Department of Local Services, serves as chair of Regional Water Quality Committee, and is vice-chair of the Budget and Local Services committees.” Councilmember Lambert has led a coalition of local elected officials in support of solutions to repair and maintain failing local roads and bridges in East and South King County. She’s proven invaluable to groups working on Waste to Energy, Recycling, and Upcycling.

Her years of experience is what is needed during these ever-changing times. She remains committed to finding new ways to keep East King County on the leading edge of innovative solutions, technology, and quality of life. She will continue to endeavor to meet the ever changing and growing needs of our district. We strongly endorse Kathy Lambert for re-election in 2021.
