Salmon Days 2022 will feature a special musical tribute to the late Alan White who sadly passed away in May of this year. For some twenty five plus years Alan was a strong Salmon Days supporter and so often “sat in” with many of our entertainment bands. Alan is a past Salmon Days parade Grand Marshal, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and a founding member of Music Aid Northwest that helps fund music education in local schools. The tribute to Alan will be the closing act at the Community Center stage on Saturday October 1st and will include members of Alan’s Northwest band, White, along with several special guests. The tribute will feature a selection of music from Alan’s long career with super group Yes and numerous other bands and artists like John Lennon and George Harrison he performed with over the years. This tribute performance is something you won’t want to miss.
